YOUNTVILLE VETERANS PATHWAY HOME
Originally I posted this blog many years ago after we designed and installed the cabinets for their new intake center, offices and conference room in 2009. I believe it was formally called California Transition Center for Care of Combat Veterans. It seemed wonderfully supportive to have been created for some of the vets coming back from the war. I met several of the them and enjoyed working with the staff who dedicated their lives to transitioning these vets back home. It certainly is an idyllic setting tucked away on a hillside in the vineyards of Napa Valley. Absolutely a tragedy of violence that occurred last week in a facility of helping hands. I yearn for more such care for more of the vets that come back and need our help so this response from a veteran cannot occur again and we can maintain peace in every one of our homes and communities.
