Photos are the process of redesigning a partial closet by adding on the finest cabinetry custom created to complement the client's existing wardrobe drawers. Now with plenty of roomy clothes hanging and shelving so sorely missing before. The client had this lovely island of drawers but no proper hanging.
Napa designer Malka designed this well organized new office in fine wood with laminate counters. Plenty of files and drawers fully extended and custom created for this author client.
I spent over 2 1/2 hours walking along the Napa River down town picking up trash with Yofi the Poodle tethered to my belt on her leash.
First excited about this day but soon began to be frustrated at all the cigarette butts that I took a lot of time picking up. I am amazed as to how a smoker can think that these butts don't matter.
Yes, it is spring cleaning week ends and we must take full advantage of the warmer weather and brighter days of light. Time to clean out the closets and rearrange the garage storage. Organize and simplify each time to rid oneself of unruly clutter. It is all a very good thing to do.
The counter is our special construction of recycled wood. It is durable and cool.

This I discovered near the home of a client's in Yountville, Napa Valley. I do believe it is on her property and do not know it's history. I find it an amazing piece of very fine old architecture. It appears to be used for the storage of a few farm or vineyard equipment.
I know it still looks a bit messy, but it is in better order, with more shelving that are adjustable and is built higher than the simple chrome standard pantry storage shelving. Plus this new one of ours, built by:RC Cabinets & Closets designed my Malka, now has easy access platter dividers. Awesome storage and order.

Another beautiful home of a client who resides in the Silverado Country Club Estates of Napa, California. The door above was custom made by a Napa Stain Glass Maker that I will have to find and blog about. I just loved the door and the entire house on different levels. We finished the closets, pantry and an amazing home office. Will blog about that one too.
