This novel was a delectable pleasure to read. Trumpet is the story of a lovely ingenue actress as she suffers loss. Then finds her place on the London stage, and travels far and wide in the early 1800's. She is a strong woman, a woman with softness and fortitude, with grace and guts.

Readers will find an escape into intrigue, adventure, and a picturesque history lesson. This lovely story was like no other I have read, I could not put down and was sorry to reach the end. With great anticipation, I look forward to reading the next book by these skillful authors...
