CHINA TOWN / SAN FRANCISCO

Little Girl

Little Boy

These are some sights of San Francisco's China Town. A unique enclave of the city's residence and I believe the largest population of Chinese outside of China itself. We went down there to pick up some 'Magic Chalk' to kill ants and ginseng herbs for energy.

TEEN'S CUSTOM CLOSETS

Isn't it important to teach children how to be organized as they grow up? How will they manage to go to work some day on their own if they are not. They may end up wearing wrinkled damaged clothing because they did not know how to care for their clothing in their own home and space. I think it is important to take pride in one's clothing as investments of one's appearance. Not to be frivolous or frugal, but when we buy a nice piece of clothing we may as well take care of it and enjoy wearing it. I lovingly design closets for teenagers well being... Malka

CHILDREN'S CUSTOM CLOSETS

Many potential clients call quite excited wanting to create a custom closet for their children. They are so looking forward to do such a project till they hear the pricing. Yes, the kids need their braces first, but we forget to realize that all the pieces of furniture you need for a child's room and how the closet is just a cave of wasted space with a one wooden rod hanging well above kids reach.
A custom closet is an investment, yet when well designed a child can grow up with the adjustable functions of my closets till they leave home. No need to buy extra dressers and shelving to clutter a bedroom.

CUSTOM WARDROBE CLOSET IN NAPA CALIFORNIA

Three Way Corner Mirror with storage behind
Island
Vanity

I loved this wardrobe when I was creating it a few years ago. I came upon my photos when I learned that the client had sold the house. The closet space was about 20 feet by 20 feet for just her. Her husband had a closet less than half the size of this. It was so large that I was almost stumped as to what to do with it. Hamish, a colleague did suggest that we enclose all the clothes to start and therefore this glamor closet started to take shape.
The lead designer for the entire home design, construction and decor was Thomas Bartlett of Napa and San Francisco. I will highlight him in the future, but for now, he specified the trim and colors of the closet project where under him I designed the space planning and organization as well as the basic scheme.

CUSTOM GARAGES FOR THE FALL CLEANING - NAPA

Time to clean out the garage to store personal objects safely till next summer. My rule is to keep everything off the ground. If you hold on to anything you still want to have - take care of it.
