Bauerware Cabinet Hardware

This my favorite discovery of the most amazing and unique decorative cabinetry hardware one can find any where around the entire bay area and all of California. This lovely shop is located in the Castro District of San Francisco, California. Bauerware is owned by a woman, herself a spectacular interior designer who personally selects hardware including those created by independent artisans.

When creating closets and home offices for my clients, I support them in shopping for the decorative hardware themselves. I send them off to my favorite shop, Bauerware for these special choices. ALL ITEMS ARE STOCKED IN SMALL QUANTITIES.

The shop is worth the trip no matter where you live to play in this Disneyland of decor accessories.

We have had the showroom in The San Francisco Galleria for a few years but had yet taken the opportunity to have a party. With the annual Design Center Open House, we enrolled our own Scotsman, owner and engineer - contractor of Innovative Design Group / Closet Innovations to speak in an educational seminar to attending interior designers on construction of cabinetry and organization. They all had a delightful time listening to the rhythm of Hamish's Scottish Gaelic brogue and trying to understand what he was saying.

Walking through the doors as in the top photo, we walk into the mystical and creative world of Keeyla Meadows an amazing landscape artist based in the Berkeley, California. These are just a few photos of her work to share her natural, aesthetic and magical gardens in natural order.

We finally had a gorgeous and warm weekend without rain, and I was finally able to harvest some pussy willows for decorating this week end. Yofi the Poodle loves jumping around in the mud puddles as I clipped away. The pussy willows are found in the river and creek banks amongst brush and bramble, so with long pants on and water proof boots I got to work. Each year I replenish my pussy willow display at home as well as our showroom in San Francisco. Some people think that it is bad Feng Shui to have dead plants in the home, but it is dirty, dusty, old and damaged wood that are bad. Just like damaged furniture, which is of a dead plant. This practice is most important in the bedroom.

Our showroom of Innovative Design Group / Closet Innovations are getting ready this week for Market Week where all the showrooms come out with new and improved products. Hamish the Infamous Scotsman is going to talk about our company in his kilt this coming Thursday and we are sold out for attendance. It all should be grand in this show getting ready for a good year with such a great event.
