CLOTHING DAMAGE: MOTHS!

MOTH DAMAGE

THE RUINING OF AMERICA - THAT IS, OUR CLOTHING!

OMG! look what happened to my sweater. No, it is not a marijuana seed hole, it is from a little moth that had a party in my closet.
With solitude, peace, darkness and warmth, moths have their private affairs in your drawers, closets and attics during the times you store your seasonal wardrobe away.
Simple Steps of Clothing Protection:
1. Clean your garments before storing. Moths, like little bits of food and body secretions mixed with their fabric meal.
2. Store the most worrisome clothing, such as fine cashmere and tasty wool in sealed boxes or closed drawers.
3. Use lavender or lavender & cedar sachet herbs or spray.
Lavender & cedar herbs aromatic oils are most effective when their scents are sealed within a box or a drawer with the clothing it is protecting. Refer to sources below for lavender and cedar products to protect your clothing from these little pests.
